The 4 flower files and the leaves file require a 4”x4” hoop, and the bow and banner files require a 5”x7” hoop. The designs are done on stiffened back fabric with a rich satin edge and have an inner heavy fleece filler that gives them stability and a lush texture without the need for using templates. Each design features eyelets that are used to connect the finished pieces with scrap-booking brads. Weaving a heavy gauge wire along the back of the brad-joined pieces to maintain the shape completes the wreath, and you can make it as big or small as you like by adding on more flowers and leaves (my sample is 15¼”x14¼”). Another fun option would be to string the pieces along to make a light-hearted garland. I seem to always want what’s new. No matter when I fabric shop I always seem to wind up with a handful of charm packs. I use them for color ideas and inspiration. Now I have created a collection to uses these charm packs. There are 15 different quilt blocks that all use the charm pack swatches. If you have ever been frustrated by traditional piecing fear no more. All of the piecing for the quilt blocks in this collection is done in your embroidery hoop. The quilting possibilities are endless. You simply place the fabric down, stitch a folding line, fold the fabric and stitch it in place! They are that easy to create.
