Everyone knows you can hide eggs for an Easter egg hunt, but did you know you can hide appliqués, too? What brings these lovely embroidered Easter bunnies to life is our hidden appliqué technique. Hidden appliqués help fill in a design or shape with a base colour, and then dimensional shading in varying hues is stitched on top, partially or fully covering the appliqué. This technique is super effective for filling in larger areas with colour. Since the sketchy style of stitching can closely mimic fur or feathers, hidden appliqués are especially great for stitching realistic- looking animals! These adorable bunny friends look so soft and fuzzy, you’ll want to hop to stitching straight away!
