We are excited to release this first set of Nifty Fifty United States, a 2-part series of state designs, featuring 50 gorgeous landmarks from across our nation! For this first half of the country, we’ve included the first 25 states, Alabama through Missouri, in stunning, landscape appliqué style. Each state will be represented with one of their most popular landmarks within the silhouette. The scenes are then emphasized by layers of vivid cottons or linens and further embellished with standard appliqué and embroidery.
We scoured some sources online as well as consulting friends from near and far to help us select these state scenes! Each state landmark was chosen and then re-imagined in fabric and thread, highlighting both the iconic location as well as the stunning landscape-style skies behind them. We’ve included the name of the landmark under each full page design so you can easily look up images for inspiration. Add these embroidery designs to jackets, tote bags, or even framed on a wall to show your state some love!
