The illuminated letter would represent the first letter of the page or paragraph and showcased the writer’s artistic skill. Just like the printing press, embroidery machines make it easier than ever to create the same gorgeous lettering without having to use your hands!
Each of the 26 Illuminated Letters feature beautiful illustration surrounding simple line work. The bean stitches are simple, but create ornate flourishes that enhance the look of each letter. The medieval-style font stands out with thick, bold stitch work that is reminiscent of hand-stitched embroidery floss.
