Cameos originated as a form of art where objects such as gems and hard stones were engraved, creating a raised image with a contrasting background color. These pieces were then turned into jewelry or used to embellish clothing. We wanted to bring this style into embroidery by creating the classic look of these portraits and giving it a Victorian-frame flare. Pretty Portraits comes with 10 designs in 3 different sizes to choose from. Stitch them on anything from towels to travel pouches, or even as artwork you can frame!
