Have you been hunting for some fun designs that have a little extra “wow” factor to them?  We wanted to try out a new technique to add a little texture and interest to your design library.  Introducing our latest technique: Loop Fringe!  We’ll walk you through the creation of one of these designs step-by-step to show you just how easy it is to create.

Each of the 8 designs included in this collection will stitch out with rows of wide satin stitches, secured with a smaller, anchoring satin stitch across the top of each row. The secret to the fringe lies in cutting the bobbin thread for these thick rows from the back. The end results create an unraveled “loop” of threads, held in place by their row of anchor stitches. A little fluffing up on the front of the design will then free the looped threads from the fabric, creating the fun, fringy effect that’s sure to delight anyone who sees it.
