For those of us who remember the infamous Imelda of the many shoes, can you imagine what her purse shelf must have looked like? Well, her shelf will have nothing on us with this new set! We have here 9 applique purse designs, each featuring lots of designer details, to fit the 4”x4” hoop, just begging to be done in your favorite fabrics along a denim shirt or tee. But you’re probably wondering, “Who’s Sue?” Well, Sue was a very special sewing friend who passed away last fall. Her family honored me with her Ultra-suede “stash”, and so when I digitized this set, as a tribute to Sue, I did it in such a way that it would work great with Ultra-suede, vinyls and leathers, as well as interfaced fabrics. Sue would have loved it!

But then, why stop there? So the set also includes each purse featured in a 5”x5” block to be pieced together for a fun wall-hanging or as the front of an eye-catching tote bag, complete with yet another of the purses to be used as a fun fob for the bag handle. The tutorial included in the set provides the directions for constructing the bag as well as the fob. So whether you choose the blocks, the fob, or the stand-alone designs, you’re sure to have fun making Imelda envious and making Angel Sue smile at what she inspired.
