Quiet Oasis embodies our hand stitched embroidery technique, which combines hand drawn artwork, hand digitizing, and different layers of thread to give the designs a bold and unique look. The foliage background is digitized in a 2-ply stitch while the other images are 5-ply. We then picked our colors to accentuate the differences.

The 2-ply images are stitched out in a neutral thread color to blend into the linen base fabric while the 5-ply images are stitched out in brighter colors to create a dimensional illusion. The two floral linen fabrics we used for the folded fabric borders ties the collection together. All 24 designs in Quiet Oasis captures the very essence of our natural surroundings in a different scene.

The best part about this collection is that you can combine it with other Anita Goodesign collections! This collection is part of the “Mix and Match” quilt line. All of the design collections that are in the “Mix and Match” line come with 5”, 6”, 7” 8” and 9” blocks and are fully interchangeable. Quiet Oasis would look great mixed with our Nature Sketches Collection.
